Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Senior Tech Coach (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By engaging our services, booking an appointment, or making payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. Services Provided

Senior Tech Coach provides in-person and remote technology coaching, training, and support services including (but not limited to) assistance with devices, internet, software, digital safety, and general technology guidance.

All services are provided on a best-effort basis using reasonable skill and care.


3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

While we aim to provide accurate and effective assistance, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, performance improvements, or resolution of technical issues. Technology systems vary widely and results may differ based on individual circumstances, devices, and third-party services.


4. Fees & Payment

All services must be paid in accordance with the agreed pricing at the time of booking or invoicing. Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of services.


5. Cancellation Policy

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with reasonable notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee at our discretion.


6. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

We may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, and relevant technical information required to deliver services.

We will:

  • Only use your information for service delivery, support, and communication
  • Not sell, rent, or trade your personal information
  • Take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access

We may store limited notes relating to support provided to improve future assistance.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time.


7. Confidentiality

We treat all client information and device-related content as confidential. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties unless required by law or with your consent.


8. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials, content, guides, documents, processes, training materials, and methodologies provided by Senior Tech Coach remain the intellectual property of Senior Tech Coach unless otherwise stated.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use any materials provided strictly for personal use only.

You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials for commercial purposes
  • Share training content publicly without written permission
  • Modify or republish our materials as your own


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senior Tech Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of income, or device failure arising from the use of our services.

The total liability of Senior Tech Coach, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is strictly limited to the total amount paid by the client for the services under this agreement.

Under no circumstances shall Senior Tech Coach be liable to any client for any amount greater than the total agreement amount, even if Senior Tech Coach has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You acknowledge that you remain responsible for maintaining backups of your data and for any decisions made based on advice or support provided.


10. Third-Party Services

We may assist you in using third-party platforms, software, or services. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, performance, or availability of any third-party provider.


11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always apply and will be made available on request or via our website.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
